Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our real estate properties, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements for assigned properties.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards.

2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Process and review invoices with attention to detail.
• Monitor and collect rent payments.

3. General Ledger Maintenance:

• Maintain property-level general ledgers and reconcile accounts.

4. Tax Compliance:

• Assist in the preparation of property tax returns.
• Provide documentation for external tax advisors.

5. Financial Analysis:

• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.
• 2 years of experience in property accounting or real estate finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• 1 year of experience with RentManager or similar Property Management Software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual: Spanish (Preferred)
